Ethnic Identities Among Children Of Hui And Han Intermarriage:a Study In Lanzhou,Gansu

As the most widely distributed minority nationalities in China,with the "great diaspora, national distribution pattern of small settlements", there is a wide surface contacts with other ethnic groups.The traditional marriage customs of the Hui nationality is the marriage of the ethnic groups, in order to ensure the number of minority ethnic groups, to the marriage of the appropriate people to define the boundaries of the spouse.Along with the gradual expansion of the national blend, the convergence of life style, more and more people choose the marriage, the marriage family because of the cultural differences between the individual differences and divorce, broken marriage relationship in the local can cause the national relationship on the broken.To maintain a stable, balanced family relationship between family and family through the marriage of the debugging and insisted that the formation of a new family culture pattern in the international intercourse.Family is the most primitive primary group, through the birth of their children to make the marriage between the two sides to form a blood link, but also the family’s responsibility to bear the responsibility of educating their children.This paper analyzes the Hui and Han intermarriage family, family culture, kinship structure, comprehensive status factors, the growth stage of the children intimate companion, living environment and peer group on the formation of ethnic identity.And the definition of two back to the Han intermarriage descendants of State Ethnic Identity: the descendants of intermarried ethnic identity by a single national culture influence the formation of ethnic identity "absolute state"; under the influence of two kinds of national culture, the formation of two kinds of national identity, and with a certain bias "intermediate state.The important reason is that the traditional religion as the social setting of the social control power, in the face of the impact of the modernization, all the nations on the international boundaries become blurred, people’s life style more convergence, the recognition of national culture has a crisis, in front of a huge wave, require any national culture to make judgments, to maintain the diversity of the nation, and to maintain the prosperity and development of the same political system.
