Research On Contemporary Chinese College Students’ Happiness Concept

Happiness is an eternal topic of mankind. Looking at all times and all countries, whether high officials and noble lords or common people, they all have got a relentless pursuit and longing for happiness. However, in real life, the topic of happiness has confused many people,especially the contemporary college students as a special group in the society. Their cognition and attitude of happiness is also quietly changing. Contemporary college students, refers to the college students born after 1990 s. Grown up under the process of China’s reform and opening up, contemporary college students have enjoyed enormous material and spiritual wealth, while they have also been continually influenced by western culture, facing with the choices of diverse life values. Contemporary college students, as the future of the country and the hope of the People, as the backbone of social construction, their cognition and understanding of happiness directly affects their choices and practice in life. It is not only related to the college students’ life choice and value, but also indicates the future development and prospects of the country and society. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the changes of the college students’ happiness concept and to carry the present situation of the college students’ happiness on a further research. According to the existing problems of the college students’ happiness concept, find corresponding countermeasures to lead the college students to set up a scientific and reasonable, healthy and positive view of happiness.This thesis has futhered the research on the contemporary college students’ happiness conception. It is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction. This part mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the research, the domestic and international research results, the research ideas and methods, and the characteristic and innovation of this paper.The second part is the overview of happiness. This part is mainly about the connotation of happiness concept, which is the theoretical basis of this paper. On the basis of this, this part summarizes the meaning of the contemporary college students’ happiness concept, and demonstrates the important significance of establishing reasonable happiness conception for contemporary college students. In addition, this part also traces the development of the happiness concept, including the development course of Chinese happiness concept and western happiness concept, and Marxist happiness concept.The third part is the problems of contemporary Chinese college students’ happiness concept. This part is based on the impact of current environmental background, and explains the existing problems of contemporary college students’ happiness concept respectively from the cognitive aspect of happiness, the orientation aspect of happiness, and the aspect of methods to achive happiness.The fourth part is the reason analysis of the problems of contemporary Chinese college students’ happiness concept. This part analyzes the causes of the problemfrom four aspects:sociaty, family, school and college students themselves.The fifth part is the solution to guide contemporary college students to establish a correct concept of happiness. This part is mainly about how to make college students establish a healthy and reasonable concept of happiness. This needs the mutual cooperation of society,families and schools. College students also need to improve their own comprehensive quality at the same time.
