The Study On Private College Students’ Ideological And Political Work

College students’ ideological and political work is an educational management that can have an effect on students’life cognition, attitude and behavior of combining theory and practice. Today’s social and economic development is rapid, comprehensive information age arrival have brought new challenges to ideological and political workers in colleges and universities. As a result of the private colleges’ ideological and political work system is not sound; funds are not enough; scientific research level is still in its infancy; these troubles lead to college students’ ideological and political work ineffective.On the basis of files issued by the state council and the ministry of education, with years of the author’s counselor experience, this paper takes a private college of Anhui Province as an example, using the method of sampling. The questionnaire survey was conducted on college counselors and students. The data shows that the ideological and political work system of the private college runs in the same way as public colleges. The private college has no financial support and social donations, etc. For saving money, the administrators often cut on-the-job personnel, which leads to great pressure on ideological and political workers. The workers face an embarrassing situation that they deal with more routine work but low salary. The results also tell that the college students’ comprehensive quality is uneven and the campus cultural environment atmosphere is not strong. The author attempts to put forward the solution of the problem from the angle of management. With the aid of the government, society and the colleges themselves, the workers can gain support on welfare and titles. To maintain the steady development of ideological and political work, the initiative of the education management team should be improved; the incentive policy should be implemented; the career path of education workers ought to be considered and concerned.
