Traditional Family Precepts In The Application Of Contemporary College Students’ Socialist Core Values Education Research

In the period of social transition of our country, the ideological and cultural fields have exposed many problems, such as the certain deviation on the value orientation of people. Therefore, The eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly puts forward the appeal to cultivate and practice the core socialist values. Traditional family precepts is not only an important part of Chinese traditional culture, but also the essential spiritual wealth of the development of our nation. The key and difficult point of this paper is to mine the beneficial ingredients of traditional family precepts to cultivate the core socialist values and to promote it to be social consensus and value goal.This paper combs the concept, the characteristics, the carrier, the content and the educational method of the traditional family precepts, at the same time, conducting a careful reading on the individual level of socialist core values which is contained by patriotism, dedication, integrity and friendship. Also,this paper probes into the relations between traditional family precepts and the socialist core values.This paper believes that the traditional family precepts is a precious ideological source of socialist core values, and the socialist core values is the development of the traditional family precepts. This paper adopts the way of empirical research, taking the university students in Beijing as the research object. The survey finds that most college students have no family precepts. The thesis also analyzes the current situation of College Students’ socialist core values, it is found that college students in patriotism, dedication, integrity, friendly behavior is not unified misconduct and improper behavior, attitude,and summarized by the three aspects of the value conflict under the background of diversification, the lack of public opinion environment and the modern crisis of the traditional virtue.Aiming to stimulate the vitality and the actual effect of the core socialist values education as well as, to help students to establish correct values, this paper seeks to emphasize the internalization of traditional family precepts in family education,strengthen the academic research to promote the sublimation of the traditional family precepts to the core values and actively cultivates the activity of the core values based on the theory of ideological and political education and communication both in the family and on the campus.
