Under the background of the era of "Internet+sports", the sports industry, including the sports media industry, is very favored by capital. The madly scrambling of high quality sports intellectual properties makes the Internet sports media industry into chaos. With great wonder about the crazy of capital markets and infinite curiosity about Internet sports media industry’s future, as well as the exploratory on the level of enterprise business model, the author started to work on the research and writing.This research was conducted with the literature material method, case study method, and expert interview method. As one of the most typical well-known domestic sports vertical websites in the present, Hupu. com is the main research object. At the same time, this paper also involves the running vertical website "PAOBA", the riding vertical website "BIKETO", the football vertical website "DONGQIUDI" and so on, in order to do better comparative analysis. The basic logic of research on business model of sports Vertical website is the user community types, characteristics, requirements, and the value proposition, products and services strategy, production standard, competitive advantage, revenue model.The main conclusions:sports vertical websites are the ones for some specific fields, certain people and sports events, providing information of certain value on the specific requirements and related services; The typical characteristic of vertical website is sports specialized, refined, deep.
