With the constant development of communication technology and the continual stratification of stratum,the sports media industry leaded by newspaper,television and network is constantly developing with subdivision,as its development logic and change rules and social large-scale system are developing and changing.Developing from platforms of network community and providing information for audiences of sports events of specific competitive sports,the vertical sports information platforms meet the development opportunity in the tide of market subdivision.In virtue of the east wind of rapid development of mobile Internet,the vertical sports information applications is in the ascendant and become the fresh troops of sports media market.In the market subdivision,what development situation will be presented by vertical sports information applications? With the question,the author starts the research and writing of this paper.This research was conducted with the literature material method,case study method,contrastive study method and data analysis method,The paper generalize the road of market subdivision in three sports media fields,domestic newspaper,television and network,and summarizes the rules of market subdivision in the sports media industry.The paper takes the two most maturest vertical sports information applications among domestic applications` development,Hupu application and Dongqiudi application as the objects of research,takes the sports information application,Sina Sports application as the comparison object,which is the sub brand in the commercial portal platform that starts the earliest and has the most sedimentary deposits in domestic sports media industry,and the paper conduct analysis and research on three dimensions,user,content and profit of the vertical sports information applications,obtain the development situation of the vertical sports information applications and offers rational proposals for its future development.The main conclusion researched by this paper is: Since the founding of new China,with the effect of technology,policy,economic environment and other external factors and diversified audience classes,convergent audience interests and other internal factors,Chinese television,newspaper,network and other sports media all present the subdivision tendency;the user population of the vertical sports information applications is the youthful male audiences below 35 years old in first-tier and second-tier cities;the contents of vertical sports information applications pursue the depth and original report of specific sports events,the pattern of manifestation of information contents is diversified;the vertical sports information application mainly adopt the all-around profit model,such as advertising,e-commerce,brilliance,offline competition,etc.Through the analysis and research on development situation of vertical sports information applications,and combination of main elements of market subdivision of sports media,the paper hopes to make a prediction on the development tendency of vertical sports information application in a period of time in future,and provides rational suggestions.
