Objective:In view of the problem of aging population, the incidence of knee osteoarthritis in the elderly population is higher, and the incidence rate of women is far greater than that of men.In this study, through the analysis of changes in the function of the lower limbs of elderly women in knee osteoarthritis patients for 12 months of Xiaojiutian of intervention, and to investigate the Xiaojiutian on lower limb function of the patients with elderly women with knee osteoarthritis effect, further clarify the Xiaojiutian exercise as a means of rehabilitation and have an effect applied to the effectiveness of the rehabilitation of female patients with knee osteoarthritis.Methodology:In this study, the study was conducted in the middle aged and elderly female patients with osteoarthritis of the knee, the period was 12 months, and the intervention of experimental group was Xiaojiutian. The control group did not carry out special exercise intervention.Respectively of the experimental group and control group of 12 months of lower limb function, balance, range of motion of the knee, proprioception and knee pain and swelling index every three months for a test, a comparative analysis of the experimental group and the control group respectively after 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months and experimental changes in the parameters before, and then define the Xiaojiutian of practice means on lower limb function of patients with KOA female influence. The SPSS20.0statistical analysis software was used in testing data, and repeated measurement of variance analysis was also used in statistical analysis.Research Results:1. Exercising 6 months’ Xiaojiutian can improve the function of the lower limbs, and compared with the results before setting up the experiment it has significant differences; 9months and 12 months exercise can significantly improve the function of the lower limbs, and compared with the results before setting up the experiment it also has significant differences and after 12 months lower limb function could achieve its maximum.2. Exercising 3 months’, 6 months’, 9 months’, and 12 months’ Xiaojiutian can improve the balance ability of knee osteoarthritis in female patients, and respectively compared with setting up the experiment there has significant difference, and after 6 months the balance ability could achieve its maximum.3. After 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months’ Xiaojiutian exercises; it can improve proprioception in the left leg, and respectively compared with setting up the experiment before there has significant difference. 3 months later, the proprioception of leftleg is the best. After exercising 9 months and 12 months, it can improve the proprioception of right leg which compared with setting up the experiment before has greater differences. The proprioception of the right leg is the best after 12 months4. The practice of Xiaojiutian for women with knee osteoarthritis patients in left knee has no significant difference; practice 12 months can obviously improve the activity of the right knee, and compared with setting up the experiment before has a greater difference.5. After practice of Xiaojiutian 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, female with knee osteoarthritis of knee pain can be improved respectively, and compared with setting up the experiment before it has significant difference and the knee pain reduced to a minimum about 12 months.6. The effect of exercising Xiaojiutian on knee osteoarthritis female around knee swelling in left and right was unapparent, there was no significant difference.Research Conclusion:12 months’ practice of Tai Chi Xiaojiutian can effectively improve the knee osteoarthritis of the lower limb function of female. After 3 months, patients with the balance ability, proprioception and the feeling of knee pain of patients were all obviously improved. The condition of knee pain presents a good trend. The balance ability was the best after 6 months;left knee proprioception was the best after 3 months; and the right knee proprioception was the best after 12 months. The lower limb function of patients have been improved obviously after 6 months, and presents as the practice time is longer, the lower limb function is better. The right knee activities were improved obviously after 12 months. Therefore, Tai Chi Xiaojiutian is a sport for female knee osteoarthritis patients which can be practiced in long-term.
