The human world has entered the information age, along with the rapid development of information technology, all aspects of our life and work have undergone tremendous change. Graphing calculator is one for science learning, especially mathematics professional handheld technology, graphing calculators constantly upgrading in the last three decades, and its more functional, and is simple and easy to carry, and other advantages has been increasingly used in mathematics teaching and learning of mathematics among domestic and foreign.Math function is an extremely important part of its way of thinking has always been throughout high school algebra, but due to the abstract and complex nature, for high school students, since it is still a focus on function and is a difficulty.After graphing calculator handheld technology into this new high school mathematics classroom, not only changed the way teachers teach, but also changed the way students learn. In terms of learning high school functions, graphing calculator can provide professional technical support, teachers teach and students learn the right-hand man, mathematical experiments provide a platform for students to provide a tool for self-exploration.In this paper, Piaget’s constructivist learning theory and Dewey’s "new three central theory" and Bruner’s discovery learning theory, combined with China’s new curriculum reform ideas and requirements by using a graphical calculator itself part of the teaching function practice, the following two main aspects:1, Students are willing to accept graphing calculator, Graphing calculator function involvement of high school students learning to play a catalytic role in optimizing the way students learn.2, Teachers should update their concepts, improve operational level, improve teaching methods, students are encouraged to carry out mathematical experiment, improve the ability of students to use graphing calculators analysis function problems. Graphing calculator involvement helps to improve teaching effectiveness.
