Influence And Countermeasures Of Internet Environment On College Students’ Beliefs

Faith, an extremely convincing psychological state generated by subjects of faith to objects, presents subjects’ constant pursuit to objects. Faith, as the spirit guides leading human practice and commanding human outlooks on the world, life and values, is a kind of mental phenomena which exists in the depth of human soul and spills over human activities.Individual social consciousness is formed in the process of the progress of the society. Faith,as the highest level of conscious form, is greatly influenced by the social environment without question.Our country got a fully functional connection to the internet through a 64 KB international line on April 20, 1994. More than 20 years later, China has become the first "cyber superpower" in terms of the size of global net name. Since entering the new century,networking technology becomes more profound impact on the lifestyle and values of college students. College students are the backbone of development of society in the future.Whether they own scientific faith or not decide their ability to take on historic responsibility entrusted by the Party and the People. Therefore, it is of vital significance to study cultural identity of College Students’ Belief, main problems and their causes, and to research how to lead the college students to have a scientific study of the faith.The thesis is divided into five chapters:The first chapter presents the introduction. First of all, the author explains the research status and significance of the relevant "faith" at home and abroad. Secondly, the author introduces research content and 2 kinds of research methods used in this thesis. Finally, the author states the research points, difficulties, and innovations of this paper.The second chapter mainly introduces general theoretical analysis of students’ faith and network environment. Firstly, the author defines the connotation of network environment in all dimensions in broad and narrow sense, and deeply analyses real and surreal duality, equal interaction and open compatibility of web environment. Secondly,based on different disciplines, the author clarifies the "faith" concept, and on the basis of it,the author differently classifies the faiths according to the difference among the way, the subject, and the content of faith. Faith serves as a spiritual and cultural phenomenon followed after by human for their survival and development, whose generation and choice are affected by external environment. So finally the author briefly analyzes web environment’s impact on belief’s generation and choice from the theoretical level.The third chapter states the characteristics of college students’ beliefs under the webenvironment. In this chapter, the author strives to have first-hand information on the Faith of University students in the network environment in strict accordance with the requirements of social surveys, making a concrete analyze of specific issues. On the basis of interviews, the author analyzed these characteristics, that is, college students presented diversity on choice, technology on the transmission way, and dynamics on the pursuit of the faith under network environment.The fourth chapter is the main problems and causes of Students Faith under the network environment. Some inherent characteristics of the network environment is like a "double-edged sword" which bring convenience to the students in the aspects of acquisition of knowledge, but also cause some negative effects to the students beliefs, whose main symptoms are that some students’ faith authority is gradually weakened, faith behavior of some college students have been gradually dissimilation and faith willpower of some others has been gradually shaken. Although faith is individuals’ constant beliefs and compliance for the concept system like a certain outlook on life, values and world and has a certain degree of stability, which is not absolute but relative. Under the network environment, more and more college students frequently use this "double-edged sword", so that some college students lost their faith which is a serious problem, and what’s more, there is a serious crisis of faith. In addition, college students exist reverse psychology to faith education under the network environment, whose belief in education effect is increasingly being weakened.Finally, in order to find the negative impact on students under the network environment, the author made a detailed analysis of the individual, network environment, and three levels of University Students.The fifth chapter is the belief education strategies of College Students under the Network Environment. First, as "main front" for Students’ faith education, universities play a main important role in the courses of ideological political theory: to encourage educators to prepare for guiding reform and innovation of scientific theories, asking them to clarify the truth with scientific methods, convincing people by reasoning; to try to build web teaching resources of the ideological and political theory courses Philosophy and Social Sciences, constructing a new platform for communicating and learning between teachers and students; to encourage the majority of teachers with belief education advance with the times, and constantly improve their own quality, fortifying construction of teacher team in the ideological and political theory class. Secondly, through the improvement of the network of laws and regulations, the network information security system, and the network information security monitoring system, they create a healthy network environment for Students’ Belief Education. Finally, in a network environment, they should pay attention to the aspects of students personal experience, and carry out community service, participationin the labor and social practice activities.
