Study On Ecological Civilization Education In Universities Of Anhui Province

In the new era of economic and social developing, ecological civilization education has become a contemporary issue that faces the environmental problems and a long-term and arduous task of constructing the socialist ecological civilization. As the cradle of high-quality personnel, colleges and universities ought to serve as important fronts for spreading ecological civilization and strengthening the ecological civilization education of university students to provide talent support for the realization of the beautiful China dream. Based on the questionnaire and interviews, this paper summarizes the current situation of the ecological civilization education in colleges and universities of Anhui province to investigate problems and reasons and put forward countermeasures and suggestions. There are four sections in this paper.The first part is the introduction. Starting from discussing the purpose and significance of the research on university ecological civilization education, this chapter illustrates the research contents, research ideas and methods and possible innovation according to the research status at home and abroad.The second part is an overview of the research on university ecological civilization education. On the basis of the senior’s academic ideas about the ecological civilization education, this part summarizes the connotation of the ecological civilization and the ecological civilization education and elaborating the important meaning of university ecological civilization education to student’s quality promotion and social development.The third part is an analysis of the status quo of ecological civilization education in colleges and universities of Anhui province and the reasons of it. The first step is to design a questionnaire to investigate the situation of ecological civilization education in some universities of Anhui province. Then, overall analysis and factor analysis of the results of the survey are conducted by Excel and SPSS. The results show that the general effect of the ecological civilization education in colleges and universities in Anhui province is not ideal. On the one hand, the ecological civilization accomplishment of the college students presents characteristics:"high identification, low cognition and insufficient practice". On the other hand, the colleges and universities lack high attention, rich content, innovative form and systematic management in the implementation of ecological civilization education. The causes are analyzed from the external and internal aspects, including four angles such as the society, the government, colleges and students.The fourth part explores the countermeasures of ecological civilization education in universities of Anhui province. The first method is to strengthen the leading role of government and establish legal protection to improve the management system and safeguard mechanism of the ecological civilization education. The second method is to build a scientific and reasonable curriculum system of ecological civilization, including ideological and political education, which should be the main channel, infiltration education and special education. The third method is to carry out various forms of practice activities concerning ecological civilization education to enhance students’sense of ecological responsibility and practical ability. The fourth method is to promote the professional teachers’ teaching level and the non-professional teachers’responsibility to foster high quality ecological civilization education faculty. The fifth method is to make efforts to create green university, involving cultural construction, environment construction and system construction.
