In recent years, the Chinese men’s basketball team in the international competition performance is not satisfactory, compared with the previous level has a significant decline. At the same time, with the CBA to promote the professionalization of the overall reform process, the player’s career has been pushed to a new stage. However, although it has aroused wide attention, there are no many researches on professional integrity of basketball players in China until now. According to a serious of research methods, the aim of this essay focus on study about professional basketball players’ professional ethics and its evaluation index system.Professional basketball players’ work ethics refers to players who has certain sports level and also carry on economic contract, they engage in basketball competitions as a stable means of livelihood, showing professional quality in their job and typifying professional behavior method of basketball sport characteristics.The work ethics of professional basketball players consists of professional qualities and professional ethics these two levels. Based on the construction of professional basketball players’professional ethics evaluation index system principles, the survey was based on the establishment of a questionnaire based on 2 primary indicators, two 6 level indicators, three 33 level indicators. The professional quality of the weight is 0.4828, which covers secondary spirit indicator weights for 0.2988, quality weight for 0.2736 and weight for 0.4276, occupational moral weight 0.5172, its under covering the second level indicators dedication weights for 0.5430, honest and trustworthy weight for 0.3183 and dedication social weights for 0.1387.
