With the development of new curriculum reform and the endeavor of mathematics education workers in generation after generation, significant changes have taken place in China’s mathematics curriculum reform, the teaching in class is the core part of the course. Under the effects of new curriculum reform, the teachers also have joined a lot of new education idea in the classroom teaching, the atmosphere of the student in classroom teaching as the main body of the classroom is manifested everywhere. The interaction between teachers and students is more and more frequent, teaching activities are more and more personalized. Inquiry is a form of classroom teaching interaction by teachers and students, not only active classroom atmosphere, but embodies the students as the main body of teaching concept. While how does the questions in mathematics classroom teaching the application at the present situation ? In this paper, we study the problems include: how to use in the middle school mathematics classroom teaching,inquiry brings the problems in middle school mathematics classroom teaching, and in view of the problem analysis the reason, putting forward Suggestions for improvement of teachers.In view of the above problems, the paper first expounds the connotation and situation of classroom asking. Classify the mathematics classroom questioning from three part, they are time, content and object of inquiry.Then on a basis of the middle school mathematics classroom activity, coding the inquiry in class, combing the specific data and segments of classroom activity, research the condition of inquiry in the middle school mathematics classroom. Finding the following problems:(1) the quality of questioning is not up to standard;(2) the classroom asking waiting time is too short;(3) questioning the distribution is not reasonable;(4) the lack of evaluation after questioning. Through questionnaire,interview method, to find the reasons of the problems from teachers and students,mainly are the differences of understanding teachers, lack of skills training, questiondesign, subjective judgment factors and so on.Finally, thinking again the inquiry applying in the middle school mathematics classroom teaching. Aiming at the existing problems of the teachers, some Suggestions are given:(1) enhance teachers ’questioning consciousness;(2) close to the student;(3)teachers to strengthen the study of questioning skills.Nowadays, mathematics education has developed into a scientific subject, teachers should constantly adjust themselves in teaching, update teaching ideas in time. On the scientific and teaching significance of questioning. Return to mathematics classroom,regress to mathematics essence, focus on the students, really playing mathematics education in training people’s thinking ability and innovation ability.
