Study On Emotional Cultivation Of Patriotism Of Contemporary College Students

Patriotism education is the eternal subject of ideological and political education, to strengthen patriotic cultivation of college students is an important part of the patriotism education, especially under the background of economic globalization and Internet. College students are the builders and successors of the country, who are an important force to achieve the Chinese dream, should have a strong patriotic feelings, the correct sense of patriotism and rational behavior. Patriotic emotion is the direct cause of the patriotic behavior of college students, there is not easy to produce a strong sense of patriotism, and will not produce specific patriotic behavior without positive patriotic emotion.Based on the related research results, this paper defines the concept of patriotic emotion and the connotation of patriotism cultivation of university students, points out that the college students as a relatively unique youth group, their patriotism emotion has the characteristics that are both national and international, historical and contemporary, theoretical and practical. Then according to the requirements of the times and implication of college students’ patriotism emotion, it constructs the three-dimensional structure of the object, the form and the level to constructed three-dimensional structure of the college students’ patriotism emotion:In the object dimension, do love land, love people, love culture, love socialism, love the Communist Party and love the world. In the form dimension, show distinct national identity and national dignity, have a sense of national pride and sense of nation responsibility. The order of dimension follows from perceptual experience to rational consciousness.According to the three-dimensional structure of college students’ patriotism emotion, the author selects some students from seven colleges in Shanghai to carry out the questionnaire survey. Through the survey data analysis, the author found that college students’ patriotic emotion is note so optimistic. The mainstream of the college students’ patriotic emotion is positive, they not only very much agree with the cultivation of the patriotism emotion, but also have a better understanding of the content of patriotism education, patriotism emotion orientation is positive, the patriotism emotion and behavior, are more rational. But there are some deviations and problems:on object dimension:The majority of students do not understand the state of land distribution, not fully aware of consistence among the love for the motherland the love for the Communist Party, and the love for the socialism consistency, cannot properly deal with the dialectical relationship between patriotism and internationalism; In the form dimension, mainly students’ national sense of belonging, national dignity, the sense of honor and social responsibility are not strong enough; In the level dimension,most of students’expressions of the patriotic emotion is not rational, they are lack of consciousness. College moral educators in university should attach great importance to these problems.After a thorough investigation and analysis, we found that college students have psychological limitations, and the lack of patriotism cultivation in colleges and universities as well as the transition period social negative psychological impact and the negative influence of new media, caused such deviation problems of students’ patriotic emotion.Therefore, we believe that we should introduce the socialist core values, the new era of national defense awareness, the new era of patriotism, global awareness and national awareness to enrich the content of patriotism cultivation, improve the way of college students’ patriotism education, also recruit counselors patriotic emotion cultivation performance assessment index, optimize the college students’ patriotism education environment, which will be effectively solve the problems.
