Patriotism is the deepest and most sincere emotion in people's hearts,and it is also a responsibility and obligation that people should fulfill.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China: "We must inherit revolutionary culture and strengthen patriotic education." Carrying forward the spirit of patriotism requires the implementation and strengthening of the cultivation of patriotic emotion.In the critical period of high school,guiding high school students to express their patriotism,establish aspirations for a strong country,and practice actions to serve the country,is not only related to the construction and development of the socialism with distinct Chinese characteristics,but also more related to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In the era of unprecedented changes of the world,how to consolidate the foundation of high school students' patriotic emotion,make good use of revolutionary cultural resources,and innovate methods for cultivating patriotic emotion in high school ideological and political classes,has become a theoretical and practical problem that needs to be solved urgently.As an advanced socialist culture,revolutionary culture has a strong political,highly scientific and profound educational nature.It is an important spiritual nutrient for shaping and strengthening the sense of belonging,identity,dignity and honor of high school students;The goal of cultivating patriotic emotions in high school ideological and political classes is to cultivate students with strong patriotic emotions,firm political,ideological,theoretical,and emotional identity with the country,a belief in Marxism,a sense of gratitude to the party,and the love on the motherland and the construction of socialism;therefore,the application of revolutionary culture in the cultivation of patriotic emotion in high school ideological and political classes is extraordinarily essential for the implementation of the fundamental task of establishing moral integrity in cultivation in high school,and for enhancing the practical effects of patriotic emotion of high school ideological and political classes.Although the application of revolutionary culture in the cultivation of patriotic emotions in high school ideological and political classes has achieved certain practical results,there still exist circumstances where students are not motivated to participate in revolutionary cultural education activities,teachers are not good at utilizing revolutionary culture in teaching,schools lack the initiative to develop and use revolutionary culture,and no appropriate systematic evaluation system to evaluate the practical effect of the application of revolutionary culture.In order to change this situation,there must be certain changes on teaching idea.On the basis of respecting the rule of ideological and political education,the law of emotional cultivation,and the law of revolutionary culture inheritance,high school ideological and political teachers must follow the basic teaching theory especially on below four aspects: the cultivation of patriotic emotions on Marxist;the basic principles of the Party and the nation on patriotism education and the inheritance of revolutionary culture;the principles of use of revolutionary cultural resources on ideological and political education;and knowledge reference in related subjects of pedagogy and psychology.Guided by the method of cohesive learning,course docking,equal emphasis on morality and intelligence,and the unity of knowledge and action,high school ideological and political teachers should build the implementation path guarantees for students,teachers,classrooms and bases.Firstly,arouse students' awareness of being the main role,and inspire students to actively participate in the "four links" activities of sharing and exchange of revolutionary culture before class,during class,at the end of class,and after class.Secondly,teachers are committed to fully utilize the revolutionary cultural education resources as "Five Uses",that is,use revolutionary spirit to lay the foundation of patriotic emotional cultivation for high school students,use revolutionary figures to set an example of patriotic emotional cultivation for high school students,use revolutionary stories to reinforce the memory of patriotic emotional cultivation for high school students,use revolutionary poetry to nourish high school students' patriotism,and use revolutionary slogans to condense the power of patriotic emotional cultivation for high school students.Thirdly,through the innovation of teaching methods,implement the "five degrees" of patriotic emotional cultivation of revolutionary culture in high school ideological and political classes,that is,use topic-based teaching methods to realize the recognition of patriotic emotional cultivation,use the inquiry teaching method to realize the participation of patriotic emotional cultivation,use the situational teaching method to realize the interest of patriotic emotional cultivation,use the activity-based teaching method to realize the degree of integration of patriotic emotional cultivation,and use the penetrating teaching method to realize the achievement degree of patriotic emotional cultivation.Fourthly,school should build a "four one" teaching system that can guarantee the use of revolutionary cultural resources,that is,forging a team of red and professional ideological and political teachers,polishing some typical cases for patriotic emotional training classrooms,building a set of scientific closed-loop evaluation and diagnosis and reform mechanism,and building a batch of patriotic themed education practice bases.Only in this way,will the revolutionary culture be truly integrated,the cultivation of patriotic emotions be truly highlighted,the teaching design be truly scientific,and the teaching arrangements be truly reasonable,so that patriotic emotions can be indelible,unbreakable,and indestructible in the depths of students' hearts.
