The study through the literature material method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and comparative analysis and so on, has investigated and analyzed Chinese and western students’ cognitive and behavioral differences in martial arts learning.Conclusions are the following:On the understanding of teacher identity, western students more pay attention to the equal relationship between teacher and student, often look at the teacher as a "advisers", "the instructor ".Chinese students think the teacher is the elders.Respect the teacher more on attitude;In the west, the teacher often need to earn respect.On the way of thinking, In the martial arts learning Chinese students are more traditional,like thinking, pay attention to understand and connect, the west is more intuitive, accurate and empirical.The CIB student’s perception of martial arts is diversified.In many western eyes, martial arts is a way of life.More Chinese students think martial arts is a sport, or a kind of culture.The CIB students is a very active on the motivation of learning martial arts, dominated by interest and fun, self as the main factors.Relatively BSU students is relatively passive in the motivation, have a certain utility, and affected by the outside world.About the study way, generally speaking, Chinese students are better at observation, imitation and repeat, the first signal system is stronger;Students and Norway this aspect is relatively poor, need to think more and understand the action, need more language instruction, dominated the second signal system.On the learning content, compared with the BSU students, generally CIB students have a strong will to find out the art of attack and defence and culture or philosophy connotation.Students, of course, China also have such demand, while the western students to ask more, more inclined to express.Students’classroom performance largely depends on the teacher, but in general, Chinese martial arts classroom atmosphere tend to be more serious, discipline is strong.Western students more active in class.The most typical difference is the western students often ask questions, sometimes interrupt the teacher’s teaching, and even directly to question the teacher.Overall, based on the culture, the differences between the way to communicate.Chinese students accept ability is stronger, learn fast.Western students relatively slowly, but better to study.
