Research purposes: By comparing the analysis of the offensive ability between Chinese team and rivals in the 28 th FIBA Asia Championship, the research found out the difference between Chinese team and rivals, and proposed the solution and suggestion, and aimed at improving the offensive ability of Chinese male basketball team, and furthermore improved the results. To strengthen the dominant position in the world of Asia Basketball and offered the relevant testing data.Research methods: The paper adopted literature material method, video analysis method, mathematical statistics method and interview method. To analyze the spot performance between China and rivals. To find out the crucial reason that impeded Chinese team.Based on the analysis of researching the offensive ability of Chinese male basketball in FIBA Asia Championship, the conclusions were as follows:(1)Offensive ability is the attack capacity which is using personal technology and offensive tactical cooperation in order to shoot when attack in basketball match.It is to focus the technique application, tactical coordination, attack effect and offensive style and other factors. It is the adaptability to changes and handling capacity of technology, tactics, physical agility, mentality and capacity in their attacking process. The paper divided the offensive ability into offensive skills and offensive tactics and divided offensive the area into five areas. Definition of concept is to clear up the paper and meanwhile provided the reference experiences for relevant research.(2)The match process of China was successful.they got 757 points and lost 563 points. Nine matches win it all to the championship. The average height of players was 194 cm and the age is 26. The average height of China basketball team was 203 cm and the age was 24. The tallest and youngest conform to the best condition of Asian championship teams.(3)China did well on offensive skill ability.Seeing scoring ability,the hit rate of 2-pointers was 53.5% and the penalty shot showed excellent of 71.5%-hit rate. 3-pointers made a significant progress with the hit rate of 39.6%. Passing ability was better. The average of assists was more than 14.5 times. The ability of offensive rebound was stronger with the average of 12. Second chance points were 8. But comparing to the stronger teams, the gap of the technical specification still existed. Comparing each position shows that the average score of the rear guard, forward and the center were 18, 31, and 35 points, and the offensive ability of center was the strongest, the offensive skills of forward were not all-inclusive and the technical specification of rear guard had remarkable difference.The difference existed on the ability of position.(4)Chinese team was not balanced in offense area. More attacks in comfort area and success rate was over 40%, the less attacks in uncomfortable area and little scoring. The success rate is high to 49% in the inside three-peat era which was mainly in center offensive area. The hit rate was lower in outside area. Two sides 45 degree area were the mainly offensive area of striker.(5) China did well on offensive tactic ability. The average of successful round was 49 times. High successful rate. Fast-paced offense. Round. Taking less time,the average of the round was 11.4 seconds. Positional offense was purposeful. Moved and passed frequently, Strong sense of assists. But weak in breakthrough and offensive ability. The shielding cooperation is the most frequently used in the basic cooperation. The breakthrough scoring was the most. Chinese team did well on transition offense, had high successful rate, determined fight-back and fast speed. Depending on fast attack, they got 108 points, joint period got 119 points. More steals and quick attack were about 36 times. Running shot was the most end way of the joint period offense.
