Analysis Of The Offensive And Defensive Strength Between Chinese Team And Foreign Teams In The 28th FIBA Asia Championship For Men

The overall offensive-defensive strength of the Chinese men's basketball team is analyzed from the qualitative and quantitative aspects by using such scientific methods as literature, expert interviews, video observation, RSR as well as the video game of the 28th FIBA Asia Championship for Men in order to have a good understanding of Chinese team's strength,and to find its own comparative advantages and disadvantages through offensive-defensive technology contrast with Asian powerful enemies, providing theoretical basis for the preparation of the Rio Olympics.The results show that:1. Chinese team is a "weak-defending and strong -attacking" type of team with offensive RSR of 0.70, defensive RSR of 0.63, overall offensive -defensive strength RSR of 0.78.2. Iran, the Philippines and China teams'offensive and defensive strength is in the A level; South Korea, Lebanon, Jordan and Japan teams'overall offensive and defensive strength is of the Class B; The offensive and defensive strengths of Palestine India, Qatar, China, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Kuwait belongs to Class C; and the overall offensive-defensive strength of Malaysia and Singapore belongs to class D.3. The Chinese team is greatly inferior to Philippine team in offensive technology such as 3-point shooting shots and total shots (p<0.01) and inferior to Iranian team in number of average 3-point shooting shots, total shots and grab offensive rebounding(p<0.05); while Chinese team have an advantage over Korea team in number of hits of free throws on the spot and free throw attempts.4.The Chinese team and the Philippines Team are not significantly different in the defensive Technical indicators; compared to the significant gap (p<0.01) and the Iranian team in steals indicators, but the cap index of the Chinese team have the clear advantage (p <0.01); compared with South Korea there are also significant gaps (p<0.05) in steals indicators, but has a significant advantage (p<0.05) in defensive rebounds indicators.5.The Chinese team guards did not do well in long shots, free throws and avreage steals; the forward players is the main way to score in the long shot, while there were fewer shots in the restricted area, rebound is not strong, more balanced strength, lacking of personal technical capacity outstanding players; center position overall strength in the Philippines, Iran and South Korea, but there are too many mistakes in physical confrontation attack.6.Ailun Guo's overall offensive and defensive capabilities have reached the Asian Elite Guard standards; Peng Zhou Compared with Asian outstanding striker has a significant advantage (p<0.05) in control turnovers, but the rebound index has significant gap (p<0.01 presence and excellent striker); compared with the outstanding center in Asian, jianlian Yi has certain advantages on offensive and defensive strength.It recommends that the Chinese team in the positioning of the role of defender, should not emphasis too much on organized attack, but also improve their ability to score; strengthen the defense, the forward players to grab offensive rebounds and steals skills tactical awareness training; we should focus on training players in different positions of Position capacity; to improve the understanding of the role of the team, to create " Jianlian Yi, Ailun Guo, Qi Zhou" as the pillars of the tactical system.
