Group Work Is Employed To Research The Mental Health Problems Of Elderly People Living Alone

Nowadays, with the transformation of population structure, the problem of population aging is becoming more and more serious, the number of old people who live alone increasing rapidly. They have a lot of problems in physical health, daily care, and mental health, among all of these, mental health is rarely valued by everyone.In this study, I choose 10 elderly people living alone in the N community of Suzhou as the research object, in terms of the mental health of old people who live alone. First, I use the research methods such as questionnaire, interview and observation to collect the relevant data, so I can acquaintance the mental health status of elderly people living alone in the community. Old people who live alone need get self recognition, we should lead them to join more social interaction and interpersonal communication to improve their mental health level.Then, consider the actual situation of the individual, the service object and the community I use the group work to intervene. In the process, I use professional knowledge, skills and methods of social workers to guide the service objects to reflect on themselves, seek the superiority of resources and achieve themselves growth. Last, evaluate the effect of intervention and put forward relevant policy recommendations.
