With the development of technology, DGS is used in math more and more widely. This paper investigated the use of DGS in the mathematics teaching in junior high school from the three dimensions including teachers’ beliefs and the willingness to use DGS, teachers’ technological level of using DGS and the integration of mathematics teaching and DGS.From the three dimensions, the paper combed the use of DGS in mathematics teaching through the literature research, and investigated the use of DGS in the mathematics teaching in junior high school by using questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation.The conclusions were as following:(1) At present, the junior high school mathematics teachers’ beliefs and the willingness to use DGS are relatively strong. Most of mathematics teachers identity the teaching effect of using DGS, but they lack confidence in using DGS themselves.(2) The current mathematics teachers’ technological level of using DGS needs to be improved. The type of DGS that mathematics teachers use is only geometry sketchpad, and the teachers choose PPT more for classroom teaching. Although the teachers are willing to improve their level through training, there is very little training concerning DGS.(3) The integration of mathematics teaching and DGS is not optimistic. Not only is the type of DGS used in teaching single, but the frequency of use is not high. Relatively speaking, teachers use DGS more in the contents such as circle and functional image etc,especially when teaching graphical dynamic changes.Finally, this paper gave some advice according to the problems reflected in the results of the investigation.
