Ningxia Hui Martial Arts Development Status And Protection Countermeasures Research

Hui martial arts play an important role in Chinese traditional martial arts. In the long history, Hui people always pay attention to practice and study it, they constantly rich the content of Wushu so as to improve the skills and fitness. Besides, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is China’s largest Muslim settlement, which has a profound cultural background. Ningxia Hui martial arts have various forms in the long-term development of biography. It is popular with people, and now five existing Ningxia Hui martial arts are listed as China’s Non Material Cultural Heritage. In recent years, Ningxia Hui martial arts are in slow development. As the inheritors become old, some boxing is gradually disappeared. Therefore, in order to better inherit and develop Ningxia Hui martial arts, This paper takes Ningxia Hui martial arts as the object, through literature review and field survey methods, it respectively analyzes three parts, the current situation of four Hui martial arts project, the current situation of the Hui nationality Wushu and the current situation of Hui martial arts in institutions of physical education in Ningxia. At the same time, through the methods of experts interviews, this paper summed up the problems existing in the development of Ningxia Hui traditional martial arts. these problems mainly include:first, the aging of heritors makes the art gradually disappeared; second, the competition becomes more; third, little practice is made during the development of athletic; forth, the related activities is rarely held and funds is scarce; fifth, martial art talents are poor in the cognition of Hui Wushu in Ningxia University.This study respectively analyzes the influence factors of the development of Hui Wushu in Ningxia, and puts forward four corresponding protection measures:first, combined "a fist in a school" strategy with the development of Ningxia Hui Wushu; second, implement the non-material cultural heritage digital protection measures for Hui martial arts; third, use tourism resources to promote the development of Hui martial arts; fourth, popularize the Wushu system in traditional martial arts.
