The Enlightenment Drawn From Makarenko’s Prospect Education Theory On The Middle School Students’ Ideal And Belief Education Of Our Country

From the long days of revolutionary war, from the flexuose time of exploration of socialism, into nowaday’s complicated new stage of socialist modernization construction, the Chinese Communist Party led the Chinese people of all ethnic groups towards today’s development achievements, getting rid of western capitalist countries’ suppression and blockade, overcoming difficulties and hardships, resolving all kinds of contradictions. They couldn’t have done this without communists’persistent pursuit and tenacious struggles from generation to generation. And all these derived from their great spiritual power, namely, their firm ideal of communism and socialist belief. Therefore, the Chinese Communist Party always attaches great importance to ideological and political education, especially ideal and belief education, and insists on arming people’s minds with marxism, in order to create the political situation where all the people unite as one. Middle school students, in the important stage of the development of the view of the world, life and value, are the reserves and fresh troops for the future development of our country, and they determine our country’s fate. In consequence, to strengthen middle school students’ ideal and faith education in our country is the key question that whether the Chinese nation can realize revitalization and in what degrees can Chinese nation realize revitalization. However, the international communist movement has been falling into a recession and western capitalist countries persist in their "peaceful evolution" strategy towards our country; domestic political, economic and cultural environment have been causing bad influence on the education; and the main front of our country’s ideological and political education, that is political classes, haven’t exerted their function effectively. As a result, the present situation of ideal and belief education of middle school students in China is very worried. For this reason, we should be alert and think solution in terms of theory and practice. And the great educator Makarenko of the former Soviet Union provides us some beneficial theoretical reference. He creatively puts forward collectivism education theory which embraces the prospect education theory as its main principle. And he has cultivated more than three thousand new Soviet people within his 32 years of education practice under the guidance of the theory he put forward. As we are the same socialist country as the Soviet Union, and we face the same students who are in middle school stage, we can strengthen and improve our ideal and belief education of middle school students referring to Makarenko’s prospect education theory.Based on the research method mentioned above, this article will discusses this research in the following aspects.The first part is an introduction, which concludes the significance of this research, the research status of the selected topic from home and abroad, the research purpose and methodology of the research, and the innovation point of the paper.The second part is Makarenko’s educational theory. The main content is the brief introduction of Makarenko’s life and educational activities. Meanwhile, his prospect education theory will be narrated in detail.The third part is the ideal and belief education of middle school students in China. In this part, I’ll explain the scientific connotation of ideal faith education first, and then explain the significance of carrying out ideal and faith education of middle school students in China. At last, I’ll analyze the current situation of ideal and belief education of middle school students.The fourth part is the enlightenment I draw from Makarenko’s prospect education theory. Firstly, I’ll talk about the correspondence between prospect education theory and ideal and belief education. Then, I’ll specifically illustrate the enlightenment.
