The Research On The Index System Of Financial Performance Evaluation In The Colleges And Universities

With the establishment of the management system of the University of Chinese characteristics, the financial environment of colleges and universities has been greatly changed. The focus on higher education of government, teachers, students and their families was increasing, how to make the use of funds more efficient and benefit has become a major issue for the colleges and universities, so simple and comprehensive evaluation of university financial performance was very important. College financial performance evaluation required a set of scientific, reasonable and operable index system to evaluate the financial performance of colleges and universities. We can understand our developing shortage through the performance evaluation, then we should learn the higher quality of college operating model and combine with the actual situation of the study of performance evaluation, and strive to make the development of the university into a virtuous, sustainable cycle. The performance evaluation of the western countries university has developed earlier than us, and the index system was more perfect, and they had the optimistic attitude to the performance evaluation. The Chinese government who is the main investor education was trying to promote the performance evaluation of colleges and universities, especially on the financial performance evaluation, and tried the best to make the financial performance run on a healthy track.This paper mainly studied the establishment of the index system of financial performance evaluation, through the comparative analysis with the enterprise to illustrate the characteristics of the university financial performance evaluation. And in order to solve these problems, we established a reasonable financial performance evaluation index system according to the principle of index system establishment, and the establishment of index system was based on the existing evaluation index system. We selected 18 evaluation indexes in the four aspects, such as the performance of university teaching and research performance, self performance and industry performance. After comparing the current mainstream performance evaluation analysis method, the factor analysis method was selected, and the financial performance evaluation and ranking of the universities in the 31 provinces of 2012-2014 were carried out. The research results showed that the financial performance level of colleges and universities in central and Western China is obviously worse than that in the eastern region. At the end of this paper, we put forward some suggestions according to the empirical results, and pointed out the areas to be improved in the paper. This study hoped that according to the establishment of scientific college financial performance evaluation index system, objectively evaluating the performance management level and financial situation, so that colleges and universities to improve the importance of performance management to reduce financial risk, and made the financial operation has entered a virtuous circle. In this paper, the data selection and the use of non external financial information has some deficiencies, but I hope that the study on financial performance evaluation of colleges and universities has some supplement and perfect role, but also hoped that the follow-up will be more in-depth research.
