Study On The Impact Of Historical Nihilism On Contemporary College Studends’ Political Beliefs And Countermeasures

At the end of the 20th century,along with the drastic changes in Eastern Europe and the dissolution of the Soviet Union,the socialist revolution and construction met the unprecedented challenge,historical nihilism along in our country popular,rapidly spread in the social life and cultural field.Reevaluating history as means,its outstanding performances are negation of the Chinese revolution,rejection of the May 4th Movement and the new culture,denial of the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the path of the socialism.The people’s thoughts and life have been greatly influenced by this trend.As one of China’s most vulnerable groups,the college students’ thoughts are active and easy to accept new things.However their outlooks on world and life and values are not mature,they are more easier to be affected by the historical nihilism than other people.The historical nihilism impacts their political beliefs in a certain extent,such as digesting them to Marxism’s identity,collapsing the Communist Party of China Trust and shaking to the socialist road and the communist faith.In this situation,it has alreadybecome an important research topic for college students to help them judge historical nihilism and eliminate the impact of historical nihilism on their political beliefs.For this reason,this paper mainly researches the influence of historical nihilism on political belief of contemporary college students and effective countermeasure.Undoubtedly it is an important value in the theoretical and practical fields.First of all,this paper use the methods of literature research and comparative research,introduces the Emergence and Development of the historical nihilism and the characteristics and essence of this thought.Secondly,it expounds the connotation and importance of political belief and its related theories.Next,I take 1200 students as the research subjects at several schools such as Taiyuan University of Technology,Shanxi Medical University, Beijing Normal University, Lanzhou University and so on in order to know the impact of historical nihilism on Contemporary College Students’ political belief.Then it details the cognitive status of College on historical nihilism from the four specific aspects of the awareness,the influence,acceptance and the main way hitting college students’ political belief of historical nihilism.Studies have shown that most students’ political beliefs are positive and healthy,but it is an objective existence that historical nihilism have an effect on contemporary college students’ political belief,some students show fuzzy political beliefs,they identify with historical nihilism to some extent sothat it shakes Marxism’s identity,the Communist Party of China Trust,the socialist road and the communist faith.Secondly,this paper elaborates the causes from the college students’ stage characteristics,diversity features of historical nihilism and social background that historical nihilism has an impact on College Students’ political beliefs.Contradictions have been gradually revealed in the social development.Modern media and transition develop rapidly.The college students are young and Curious.The historical nihilism has great confusion,hiding,permeability and fit.Besides,it depoliticize the tendency in social thought and Political Education is poor.These factors cause the historical nihilism spreading in college.Finally,this paper explores the measures to defend the college students against with the influence of historical nihilism and points out that the nature of historical nihilism should be identified clearly and we should apply and transmit the core values of socialism.Besides,the core values of socialism should be penetrated into the whole process of ideological and political education in universities.In this way,the foundation of the influence of historical nihilism is resolved and its spreading is hindered so that the college students can establish correct political belief in the support of theory and practice.In short,the college students are the main force to fully complete a well-off society in an all-round.They bear the responsibility ofconstruction of Socialism with Chinese characteristics,shouldering the great mission to pass and implement the Communist idea.So the college students must establish the scientific political beliefs and become qualified successors, preparing for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation at any time.
