In current society, the rapid development of market economy and the network information explosion derives a lot of alienated or western values. It is not only a serious threat to the traditional value system, but also a serious shock to the internal belief system of college students. And then the moral anxiety becomes more and more obvious. It is an important problem facing the moral education teachers to change the inefficient situation of moral education in colleges and universities and to ease college students’ moral anxiety. In our country, the attitude change theory has been applied in the study of school moral education by scholars since the 90’s of last century. And they has got some achievements.This study is expected to establish a systematic framework by using the “Attitude change- persuasion model” designed by Hovland,which can be used to explain the way of easing the moral anxiety of college students.In addition, the study also applied the knowledge of education, social psychology and management.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part: By analyzing the social background and the present situation of moral education in colleges and universities, this paper introduces the origin of this study. And this chapter introduces the relevant research at home and abroad, the core concept, research purpose and significance, theoretical methods and so on.The second part: According to Hovland’s study on attitude change,this chapter describes the structure and mechanism of the “Attitude change- persuasion model”.And it explains the attitude of university students’ moral anxiety, which is based on the influence factors and the four components of the persuasion model of attitude change.The third part: This chapter describes the current situation of college students’ moral anxiety, and classifies the moral anxiety of college students.The fourth part: This part analyzes the problems that may cause the moral anxiety in the process of moral education.The fifth part: This chapter describes how to effectively use the attitude change persuasion model and theory to alleviate the moral anxiety of University Students.The author believes that the relief of moral anxiety is not only dependent on thepersuasion and education of moral knowledge, but also need emotional experience,behavior demonstration, practice exercise and other methods. Therefore, in this chapter, I introduce some psychological knowledge, such as the theory of emotion transfer, the first effect and so on. Specific measures include : Optimize the external stimulation and improve the information source of moral anxiety of university students; Improve the value belief system and strengthen the defense of college students’ moral anxiety; Improve the learning efficiency, and enhance the control of moral anxiety of college students; Improve the rationality of the moral goal organization, strengthen the ability to relieve the moral anxiety of college students.
