With the development of economy and society,not only education should training and selecting high-end talent for social, but also should pay attention to improve the public scientific literacy, training applied talents of all levels for social.Therefore, rural chemistry teachers should change the concepts of traditional education, understand the requirements that basic education curriculum reform put forward to curriculum structure,rural education should service for rural social and economic development.Meeting the basic requirements of national curriculum at the same time,teachers should set course contents adapted to local needs according to the characteristics of modern agricultural development and rural industrial structure,improve the adaptability of teaching materials which play a variety of educational functions.This thesis consists of five parts:The first part, the policy background, purpose,significance and main contents and methods of this research were introduced.The second part, the theoretical basis of infiltrate agricultural chemical knowledge in rural junior high schoolchemistry teaching are summarized: Dewey’s philosophy of Pragmatism; TaoXingzhi’svillage educational thoughts;Constructivism teaching theories.The third part, questionnaire and interview outline were designed to investigate the present situation of rural junior high school chemistry teaching in Dafang County of Guizhou Province,which could be provide information for latter practical research.The fourth part,The implementation strategies of infiltrating agricultural chemistry knowledge in rural junior middle school chemistry teaching were discussed.Topics which can infiltrate agricultural chemical knowledge in grade nine chemistry teaching materials were analyzed, designed and practiced.The fifth part,effects were evaluated through questionnaire and test papers,limitations of the study and some tentative suggestions for future studies were finally provided.Teaching practice results show that infiltrating some knowledge of agricultural chemistry in the rural junior middle school chemistry teaching properly did not affect their normal study, but could stimulate students’ learning interest,learning attitude, to cultivate the students’ scientific literacy of chemistry and chemistry application consciousness also a certain role.
