Research On The Core Socialist Values Of College Students Cultivated By Campus Activities

The 18 th National Congress of Communist Party of China,advocated prosperity, democracy, civility, harmony; freedom, equality, justice, rule of law; patriotism, dedication, integrity, kindness; and actively cultivate and practice the core values system of socialist. This advocacy is the rich core and profound reflection of the core value system of socialist which plays a key role in the ideological and political education for college students. To strengthen college students’ education of the core value system of socialist, to guide students to establish correct world outlook, life outlook, and value outlook and to promote students’ integrated quality are the guarantee to foster the qualified builders and reliable successors for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics Colleges and universities actively respond to the call of the Party’ Central Committee, fully use a variety of ways and means to carry out the practical activities to cultivate the core socialist values of college students. It is proved that campus activities are more suitable for college students’ study compared with other ways because of the unique and innovative characteristics of campus activity which can better achieve the “internalization” of the core socialist value for students and unity of knowledge and practice. This advantage has been widely used and highly valued by colleges and universities and thus many gratifying results has been made. But after seriously analyzed and concluded, some shortcomings are also found out in the process of using it, such as some elements can not be understood clearly, the process is not systematical. Therefore, there is still much room for cultivating if the problems can be solved reasonably. This paper aims to carefully carry out empirical investigation and summarize the excellent results of the core socialist values cultivated by campus activities, and based on the summary, actively explore the strategies for it. This paper can be divided into the following three parts:The first part: the overview of the core socialist values of college students cultivated by campus activities. The part will specifically elaborate the connotation of the campus activities of the core socialist values in accordance with the logically order of the core socialist values, the cultivation of college students′ core socialist values and the college students′ core socialist values cultivated by campus activities. Besides, the characteristics and types of the campus activities will be analyzed. Eventually, the advantages of these activities will also be analyzed comprehensively.The second part: the analysis of the reasons and the application of the current situation. In the part, based on the empirical investigation, analyzing and summing up the results firstly, and then investing the existing problems from the aspects of object, form, subject, evaluation and guarantee. Finally, systemically explore and analyze the root causes of problems. This part is the main part of this paper.The third part: the mainly effective measures of make campus activities to have a better use in cultivate the core socialist values of college students and the problem-oriented way is the research method in this part. Based on the existing problems and their root, analyzing the effective measures of the campus activities in cultivate core socialist values and pointedly come up with the ways which can improve the effectiveness of campus activities, which is the difficult point and the main purpose of this paper.
