Historical Culture Education To Explore College Students In Xinjiang

At present, Xinjiang is in a critical stage of actively combating and preventing terrorism and separism. Confronted with such complex situation, strengthening the historical and cultural education is an urgently significant task. President Xi in the second central work symposium about Xinjiang Autonomous Region put forward new requirements on strengthening historical and cultural education of Xinjiang. To strengthen the education of all people is to enhance their value of our country, nation and socialism. As an important reserve force for development of society in Xinjiang, college students, are important objects of both the "three forces" and our party. The historical and cultural education on them is closely related with the construction of a harmonious society and the stable development of the region. Therefore, strengthening the education on college students in Xinjiang not only increasing their recognization of our country, nation, socialism and party by enabling them to learn about China’s civilization and Xinjiang’s culture and history, but also keeping them from theory of the "three forces".The paper is inspired by not only Marx’s view on country, nation and value, but also the spirit of speeches from president Xi and other leaders in central work symposium about Xinjjiang. It is mainly to strengthen historical and cultural education on college students, who are to master knowledge and to develop our society.The paper can be divided into the preface introduction part end body of the work proper.The preface introduction part, mainly about the goal and denotation of the investigable topic, the research status both here and abroad, as well as the method emphasis, innovations and shortcomings of the research.The first part is the basic theory, analysing the meaning of history and culture, characterizing the historical and cultural education with the speech of president Xi, and explaining the significance of historical and cultural educatoin on college stidents in Xinjiang according to the current situation of both society and college students in Xinjiang.The second part is mainly the survey and analysis of current historical and cultural education on college students in xinjiang, including three parts, namely, the questionnaire, current situation and existing problems, the influence factors.The third part talks about how to improve the effect of historical and cultural education of college students in Xinjiang. There are three ways: to enhance their understanding of its importance, to strenghthen the education, and to improve relevant mechanism.
