As is known to all, English writing teaching of senior high school follows the old teaching method. Teachers list writing requirements and require students to write following the writing requirements. Teachers see students’ compositions feeling badly. The students have no interest in English composition even frightened.In 2000, Wang Chuming put forward a new kind of writing method—Write-to-Learn Approach, which is Swain’s comprehensible output hypothesis developed in C hina. The Write-to-Learn Approach stresses writing of long composition in order to increase learners’ language output. The aim of the integration of teaching English reading and writing is from language input to language output. By inputting culture, background, words, phrases, sentences patterns, even ideologies enrich students’ language and cultural knowledge, then teachers put forward the related writing tasks for students. In this paper, author studied the application of the Write-to-Learn Approach in senior high school English writing teaching. By the formation of reading and writing integration, teachers can improve the level of senior high school students’ English reading and writing. Researcher applied experimental method in this paper. In the integration of teaching English reading and writing, researcher app lied the Write-to-Learn Approach into it. Researcher found that the integration of teaching English reading and writing based on the Write-to-Learn Approach teaching mode can effectively promote students’ English writing ability.The researcher applied the Write-to-Learn Approach into grade one of senior high school. The researcher wants to open the emotional channel and improve the students’ interest and confidence. The researcher hopes to change the current teaching situation. The new mode constructs the effective mode of English writing and caters to the new curriculum standards. It has important theoretical and practical significance.
