The Research Of Positive Label On College Students’ Motivation

"Label" as a noun, means indicators, symbols, title, nickname, etc., and as a verb, refers to the labeling in the..., the... called, make... as,calibration, etc. Positive label refers to stick the label for the positive information, which transmits a positive evaluation. Its psychological mechanism includes psychological suggestion, expect effect, identification and self-fulfilling prophecy, and the theoretical basis are mainly label theory, incentive theory. The research results show, positive label has incentive effect on college students,this incentive specific performance can enhance students’ confidence, improve the academic performance of college students, improve college students’ interpersonal relationships and improve the employment competitiveness. On the other hand, positive label in the process of playing a role of motivation for college students could cause students’ egos, stratification, They can’t face the reality, and they even have psychological burden and many other problems.This paper put forward that following the people-oriented principle, timeliness principle and objective principle, on the basis of giving full play to the positive incentives.In addition,education workers should not only implement praise stimulated, but also to advocate positive affirmations label "post", "live post", "stick",and guide students to find the source of happiness. In order to achieve the correct view of oneself and self motivation, college students improve their psychological resilience and consciously resist the influence of negative labels.
