This paper focused on the US Open singles matches for Peng Shuai’s scoring technology in 2014, and mainly analyzed her scoring by literature, video observation, comparison and statistics, etc. As we all know, paying always attention to the Chinese women tennis, following Li Na, Peng Shuai is a more comprehensive tennis player in the rankings and techniques. During 2013 to 2014, Peng Shuai’s grading was groundbreaking and she played excellently to always go in the US Open, however ultimately she had to exit for physical fatigue, not performing her normal level, but still created her personal best record in Grand Slam, also came up to the best record of China athletes in the US Open, becoming the third Grand Slam singles in semi-finalist following Li Na and Zheng Jie, and the rank went back to TOP20.This is a milestone in the progress of Chinese tennis, meaning for another leading figure. In this paper, we selected Peng Shuai’s six singles matches of US Open in 2014, studying its mainly scoring technology in games, using literature, video observation, comparative and statistics methods to summarize, analyze, research, and the main conclusions were followed:For Peng’s serves, more ACEs and less double faults in the six matches, and the speed was average of others, low success rate of first service, high score rate of second service, little changes for skip service and placement.Peng shuai had high success rate for receive and break serve, saving break points was outstanding.Ability of stalemate ball, Peng shuai’s forehand of double-hand was not wide or flexible than single-hand, so for Peng shuai’s flexibility and quick move need higher standard(scores and faults for the first three, three to eight, nine and above, etc.)At forehand and backhand for stalemate, Peng’s superiority was strength at forehand of double-hand, and her forehand scoring rate was higher than other techniques, but the reaction and to determine the placement was little lagging, so for relatively tired, therefore she needed to improve the ability of forehand and backhand at stalemate, especially ability of score in midcourt with forehand and backhand. The situations of scoring and fault for techniques with match videos, Peng shuai used score skills(smash, volley, Chipping, chop stroke, lob and so on) relatively less, it is not audacious at the net for chip and chop stroke, resulted in high faultsHow scores more than the opponent on the total, we could fell the states that she won the match, the less difference with scores indicated more intense matches, meanwhile could show the ability of grasping the key points for winners.
