Application Of Data Mining In The Analysis Of Colleges Students’ Performance

Rapid increase in the number of students in higher vocational colleges, teaching subjects are increased greatly, so the resulting configuration is difficult to optimize teaching resources in Higher Vocational colleges. There are a large number of student achievement, using data mining algorithms from mass grade data mining influence relationship between various courses, such as good grades in English students can better grasp foreign advanced computer technology, improve computer learning, computer test scores. Help to optimize the allocation of teaching resources, teaching management, change teachers’ teaching, and students’ study blindness.The traditional Apriori algorithm in college performance analysis process, as a result of achievement data recording more, the algorithm can quickly obtain valuable information. Therefore, this paper to solve this problem proposed binary code and pruning method is introduced, to improve the Apriori algorithm running efficiency and the closed association rule mining accuracy. To sum up, the main features and innovation of this paper includes the following two aspects:Firstly, the design and implementation of an improved Apriori algorithm. With the increase of college performance data, massive data caused by the running time of Apriori algorithm is the traditional long, scan the database many times, cannot satisfy the people’s real time and efficient performance of knowledge utilization. Are introduced, the binary code and pruning method to improve the Apriori algorithm and efficiency compared to the original algorithm have improved significantly, which in theory and in practice to have meaning.Secondly, the improved Apriori algorithm is applied to the performance analysis system. Analysis of the performance management system is an important achievement of where I work in Higher Vocational Colleges in the development of information technology, the system uses the B/S architecture, design and implementation of performance management, curriculum management, teacher management, student management by improved Apriori algorithm finds out the association between the integrated curriculum of basic computer course and, between the various professional courses, provide some feasible suggestions for the teaching management, curriculum, and ultimately to improve the teaching quality.
