Compared with traditional telecommunication, VoIP technology, which using Internet to transmit digital voice data, has occupied a important position in some developed countries, for example in Europe and North America, because of its obvious superiority and core technology that become gradually mature. Meanwhile, in the "three net fusions" trend, VoIP technology in our country has also started a new planning and deployed.However, this communication manner is just built on cable transmission. The expectations that VoIP replace traditional telecommunication is no mater, but it need further improved, combined with embedded technology and wireless communication technology. This thesis is based on the thought, combined with embedded system, wireless network communication, speech processing technology, merged in the embedded system’s high performance and low power consumption, the low cost of wireless communication and some other advantages. From this thought, we have researched and designed in software a wireless digital voice real-time transmission system based on embedded platform.This thesis firstly introduces the overall framework of the embedded wireless digital voice transmission system, which based on client/server model, analyzes and solves system multithreading synchronization problem with "producers/consumers" method. Then, based on object-oriented programming characteristic, we have designed a set of general class of recording and playing sound for the embedded mobile and server terminal, shorten the development cycle of the system greatly. And next, we designed a automatic dial-up class, which can uninterruptedly detect the signal of internet. Last, this thesis focuses on transmission, receiving modules and a smart caching in this system, further improves the quality of voice and running reliability of system.Because of the especialty, miniaturization, high reliability of embedded system, as well as portability of embedded products and so on, digital voice mobile terminal can have better scalability and portability in this system. And after further perfecting, this system can make a wide range of voice broadcasts and voice video transmission. In addition, this system has wide prospect of market, great economic and technological advantages also.
