With the development of embedded technology and video monitoringtechnology,The embedded video monitor arises at this time.Compared with the traditionalvideo monitoring it has low cost, small size, compact structure, good scalability andperformance stability,it can widely used in industrial control, traffic regulation, securitysystems, security monitoring and other fields.In this background, this paper designed andimplemented the network video monitoring and alarm system based on ARM11.This subject use the fei lin OK6410development board as hardware developmentplatform and translate Linux system onto this hardware platform as the operating systemplatform, This article combines the traditional video monitoring technology with thetechnology of moving object detection, and h.264video compression technology and CGIdynamic web technology, design the intelligent network video monitoring system based onB/S architecture.The research mainly including: base on the overall design of the hardwareplatform the Bootloader, Linux kernel, device drivers, and the root file system will be cutand transplanted to the hardware platform.each function module of the monitoring systemdesign to realize one by one on the basis of the hardware and software platformbuilt.including:based on V4L2video data acquisition module, and the moving targetdetection and alarm module, and h.264format compression module,and the WEB servermodule, and client display module and in order to improve the security of the system weuse CGI dynamic web technology to design the security administrator login page.This system via USB camera capture front-end image, the collected image were sendto moving target detection module, This module uses the combination method of framedifferential method and background subtraction to detect moving object and the modulewill alarm by alarm module if it detects the moving objects. Then the image data werecompressed by H.264compression module, and the compressed image data is transmittedto the client for decoding display.The modular design approach is used in the system which makes the design morecomparable, and efficient.Experimental results show that: The monitoring system canaccurately detect the moving target, and Image is clear and smooth;achieve the expecteddesign goal.
