Design And Implementation Of Online Examination System In Higher Vocational Colleges

Examination is an important part of the teaching inspection. The traditional paper examshave to take several steps as the followings: The test papers making and printing; thepreparation of the examinee; the proctors sending and collecting papers; the teachers markingand correcting the test papers manually and making the score registration, etc. Everyexamination will waste a great deal of manpower and financial resources. With the increase inthe number of students in colleges and universities, and the increase in the number of teachingprofessions, the amount of work must be increased greatly. The traditional methods ofexamination have not met the need of modern examinations any more. With the developmentof network technology, the examination online system software has already become more andmore popular nowadays. It is really of a great help to make up for the shortage of traditionalexaminations.This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of the examination online system ofZhaoqing industrial and commercial college, making an investigation of current situation ofthe development and related technologies at home and abroad. With the flexible use of thetheory and the method of software engineering on the design and implementation of thesystem, it is adopting a new way of the object-oriented method either to speed up thedevelopment or to be convenient for doing all the maintenance and repair work. Combiningwith the actual situation of Zhaoqing industrial and commercial college, it analyzes therequirements of the problems needed to be solved. The design and implementation of thesystem has eventually completed.This System development tools is the Visual Studio2008system. The programminglanguage is C#. Database language SQL Server2005. It is good to do all the maintenance andrepair work easily in the use of B/S structure mode. According to the functions andpermissions, the system is divided into two types of users---the administrator and theexaminee. The examination online System has been put into operation for a period of time.The system worked properly. It can meet the needs for the foundation examinations ofZhaoqing industrial and commercial college. It is very helpful to relieve the teachers fromtheir heavy work greatly. It also provides more convenience for the majority of teachers andstudents.
