With the rapid development of industrial technology, the requirements of ring technology are becoming higher and higher, and the attention of ring precision rolling technology is also becoming higher and higher in modern manufacturing industry. Ring precision rolling technology is an advanced manufacturing technology which is consists of manufacturing technology, rolling technology, modern control technology and material technology. Ring precision rolling technology is the preferred processing of ring product precision rolling.Ring precision rolling technology is a kind of ring rolling technology of precision rolling technology of ring rolling machine, whose control accuracy directly affect the quality and production efficiency of the ring.This paper analyzes the time-varying parameters that are in working process of ring rolling machine. According to the analysis results, the original control system has been optimized by the way of fuzzy control. Using MATLAB simulation study of the effect of controlling, in order to achieve the purpose of precision rolling of ring rolling machine.This paper mainly studies the control system of ring rolling machine, and the key of the study is cone roller speed matching and mandrel feed.(1) This paper introduces the structure and working principle of the ring rolling machine, and find out the difficulties of the original control system. Thus, this paper concluded that the control system scheme, according to the characteristics of control process of ring rolling machine. This paper analyzes the deficiency of the original control system. Through the analysis, the authors found two difficulties of ring rolling machine control that is the radial and axial feed control and cone roller speed control. According to the ring growth speed adjustment, radial feed is adjusted by the operator in real time. The axial feed is automatically given, or artificially adjusts. Speed cone roller is calculated according to the formula, at the same time, the operator will be manual intervention on cone roller speed according to the actual situation. However, this control method is more likely to cause the eccentric ring and "out of round". Finally, the author puts forward fuzzy control scheme, designs of ring rolling machine fuzzy control.(2) According to the overall design scheme, the paper designed the ring rolling machine hardware of the control system. Author selects the right control components for the system and determines the reasonable installation position of elements. The hardware system is increased by the magnetic displacement sensor for detection of the two arms of the displacement difference.(3) On the one hand, taking the ring rolling machine working process experience adjustment for factors as a reference; on the other hand, calculation of the factors according to the principle of fuzzy control. Finally, the fuzzy controller has been established according to the results of calculation.(4) Process control system and program was designed which is according to the fuzzy control using in taper roller speed and mandrel feed control of ring rolling machine. This paper describes the programming process, focus on the programming process of taper roller speed using fuzzy control. Speed fuzzy control selected roller displacement and displacement error change as inputs, and selected speed adjustment as output. Fuzzy levels of two inputs are calculated by the fuzzy input factor. Fuzzy output is calculated, according to the fuzzy control rules summarized by experts and operators and Triangular membership function and maximum membership degree method. The programming process is realized by using PLC programming software GX-Developer. In order to facilitate the debugging and testing procedures, the program uses the modular program structure.(5) The simulation of the control system is implemented using Matlab. The fuzzy controller is created using MATLAB, and the simulation model is constructed in Simulink. When the arm displacement and the displacement difference rate are changed, we can observe the output to adapt to the situation of input change using the simulation model.Through the research on the fuzzy control system of ring rolling machine, the main roller cone roller speed matching problem can be avoided by improving the detecting element and optimizing control system. This scheme can be realized in the program control, it is feasible in actual application. Therefore, the improved control system has very high practical significance and application value.
