Along with the application development of information technology and popularityof the Internet, Shijiazhuang Computer Vocational College proposes the requirementon building online examination system to adapting to the demands of the developmentand management of teaching and academic work.In accordance with the rules on the workflow of teaching and academic services,job responsibilities, the processing and management of data in Shijiazhuang ComputerVocational College, this paper elaborates on the needs and system functions of theonline exam, analyzes the design of system architecture and database as the focus, andresearches the interaction between system and database deeply. Combining with thedesign thoughts of information system, the comprehensive analysis should be make onthe frame, structure, basic function, database, data access, and security of the onlineexamination system, in order to complete the design of its management subsystem,teachers subsystem, students subsystem and other subsystems.Through the analysis and design of this paper, Web-based online examinationsystem platform design is put forward, with the application of schema design, UML,Web, database, information security technology,. The system and network security willbe ensured by applying comprehensively with exam webmaster, PKT technology, CAauthentication and SSL security protocol. The performance of database access will beimproved by using the proxy cache and database connection pooling. The applicationof JDBC and database access will be optimized.The building of online examination system provides a practical foundationplatform for the teaching and academic services of Shijiazhuang Computer VocationalCollege, and provides the development and application experiences for thedevelopment and implementation of college overall information system. Onlineexamination system has great significance and practical value.
