Data mining is the mining of knowledge and mode of valuable potential frommass data. Association rule mining as an important pattern in data mining has beenwidely used in finance, e-commerce and other fields. Customer relationshipmanagement system(CRM) plays more and more important role in modern enterprises,is the only way which must be passed to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises,how will the transaction data to the enterprise and the customer and the customer datato provide valuable information for enterprise decision, enterprises need to be a usefultool to transform the data into useful knowledge.This paper first introduces the basic theory of the classical association rules,Apriori algorithm and improved algorithm. The basic steps, the basic concept,classification of association rule, and introduces the basic concepts of CRM etc.Application of improved Aprior_X algorithm of Apriori algorithm in CRM.In the data mining algorithms, most of the algorithms are calculated in theApriori algorithm,in the mining process will produce a lot of redundantdata(candidate),reduces the efficiency of association rules mining, in order to improvethe efficiency of association rule mining, proposed a new Apriori_X algorithm formining association rules.The application of this algorithm in the CRM system, mining valuableinformation, finding out potential valuable information for decision makers.
