| Embedded real-time database provides timely, accurate, integrated platform ofinformation service for all kinds of mobile terminals. Open database connectivity(ODBC) standard provides a unified interface for accessing database, which databaseapplications access one or more database by ODBC interface. The ODBC standardconformance testing of embedded real-time database, which is the only way before theembedded real-time database was application to the mobile terminal. It is an importantindicator to measure the performance of database management systems.The project of paper was from the national database preparation units. Mainly forthe embedded relational database that complied with the national military standards, andaccording to its own characteristics, tested and evaluated the ODBC stand and relevanceof the database. There are three main parts, design testing process, SQL conformancetest and interface conformance test. First of all, Analysis of the status of the test object,and create a test environment, then design the test solutions. Secondly, using embeddedC language to write SQL test suite by these characteristic, to execute the script of SQLtest suite, to analysis the test results, to generate the test reports. ODBC interfaceconformance test verifies the conformity of the ODBC standard by functionconformance test. According to the standards of the ODBC API, expansion thecore-level of ODBC interface for TY-ERTDB, then generates a final test report. Last,the test framework and the test case suite of the paper canbe applied to ODBC standardconformance test of the database which complied with the general requirements ofrelational database management system for military embedded applications. |
