With the rapid development of mobile Internet technology, the high voice qualityfor voice transmission on Internet has gradually become the pursuing goal.Under thiscase, the research of voice coding technology is becoming more and more important.This paper optimizes and realizes the G.729voice compression algorithm of voicetransmission on Wi-Fi Direct based Android System.At first this paper introduces theprinciple and process of the G.729voice compression algorithm in detail in coding anddecoding,and then proposes optimization strategies of this algorithm.The oneoptimization strategie is algorithm optimization focus on the problems of largecomputing and high complexity, it aims at improving the time efficiency on handlingprocess of open-loop analysis and fixed codebook search,and the other optimizationstrategie is code optimization which modify the redundant structure.In addition thispaper transplants the optimization algorithm to the MT6589platform based on AndroidSystem,and develops a voice transmission application based on Wi-Fi Direct. Finally, ittests the application in function and performance.Through the analysis of the testresults,we can see it not only improve the G.729voice coding efficiency, but alsorealizes the voice’s high efficiency transmission.This paper realizes the high efficiency transmission of voice by combining theWi-Fi Direct technology and the G.729voice compression algorithm.Therefore, thisresearch gives reference for using Wi-Fi Direct to realize voice transmission and has theimportant engineering meaning in actual project.
