In "ALL IP environment" maturebackground, in order to satisfy the rapid growth of carrier class Ethernet Services andthe resulting demand for broadband services, a variety of optical network newtechnologies emerge in endlessly, Which represented PTN packet transporttechnology in the MAN gets more and more, it has gradually become the main streamof future transmission technology. PTN technology development to satisfy transportthe high bandwidth services and large particles IP Services, and effectively realize theorganic integration of the PTN and present network SDH/MSTP. PTN technology is"connection-oriented packet transport" technology, which "connection-oriented"stresses can provide carrier-class service, and therefore, there must be commensuratewith the traditional transport network OAM capabilities. In fact, improved data packettechnology and carrier-class OAM mechanisms of the Commonwealth is PTN.In this paper, based on service requirement of PTN equipment delivery, Throughcomparing PTN implementation technology and analysis OAM network model,referring to the process in the design of MPLS OAM and SDH OAM. In PTN system,designed and implemented MPLS-TP OAM mechanism,by OAM software moduleloaded software on existing equipment to meet the functions of carrier-grade networkoperation and maintenance management. Firstly, based on a detailed analysis of thesystem OAM functional requirement, designed the overall structure of the MPLS-TPOAM, and put forward specific embodiments; Then, considering the configuration ofthe system hardware and software environment in the PTN, put into practice themodular and high efficient design. After that, designed and implemented the specificOAM functional sub-module, proposed PTN OAM device node for processing modeland forwarding mechanism, the detailed description of the situation OAM packets andgeneral business data packets transmitted over the network. In this paper, based onselected MPC8308CPU platform solutions, BCM56448switch chip solutionconsisting of hardware systems PTN equipment and Vxworks embedded operatingsystem, the Tornado software development platform to develop achieve MPLS-TP OAM functions. PTN OAM functions take on the system load independent,sub-module design and implementation methods can be cut to ensure theindependence of the function.Finally, select the fault management and performance monitoring related OAMfunctions typical application,and through DX PTN equipment verification and anincidental result and detailed analysis of this experimental.The experiment results andrelated agreements are matched.The result also proved that this paper designed forMPLS-TP OAM can realize the administration and maintenance functions of the PTNequipment.This OAM system has been used in actual PTN access equipment and runswell. |
