The Design Of The Information Management System For Students’ Internship Of Huizhou Economics And Polytechnic College

Internship is an important link for vocational colleges training students to becomeapplied、professional and skilled talents. It is an important stage for students stepping intosociety from school. During the internship, students would use their professional knowledgeto solve problems, accumulate working experience, and lay solid foundations for thedevelopment of career.Schools, enterprises and students have realized the importance of internship, butinternship is not centralized training. Each enterprise’s working place, working time andcontent are different. These problems caused the obstacle of communication between theschool, teachers, students and enterprises. Because teachers often need to guide students andcommunicate with them timely, schools also need to get a thorough understanding of students’practice condition, so how to understand the real needs of the society according to thefeedback from students and enterprises, and how to adjust the structure of knowledge andimprove the teaching scheme is an important subject of sustainable development of vocationalcolleges.Based on the actual demand of students’ internship in Huizhou Economics andPolytechnic College, it designs and implements an information management system forstudents’ internship. It solves some problems such as information asymmetry and dataredundancy in the process of internship, and realizes the centralized and systematicmanagement objective of the various information resources such as students’ and teachers’information.The main research work includes the following content:Firstly, it studies the business process and management requirements of students’internship in Huizhou Economics and Polytechnic College. It combines with the workexperience of practice guidance and takes the users as the center, analyses the demand of theusers during the internship management.Secondly, based on the research of business requirements and the information exchangeproblems between the users during the internship, it combines with the actual situation of Huizhou Economics and Polytechnic College, puts forward the general design scheme of theinformation management system which is based on the architecture of B/S.Thirdly, using VS2008as the development platform, using C#as the developmentlanguage, using ASP.NET to develop Web pages and using SQL Server2005as the database,it designs and implements each module’s function of the information management system forstudents’ internship in Huizhou Economics and Polytechnic College, and the system is testedand analyzed.At present, the Information Management System for Students’ Internship is put into usein Huizhou Economics and Polytechnic College, and the running effect is approved by theunit.
