With the development of TV station business, and network, high-definition ofdigital television, television program data increase continually, all televisionstations are developing from tape storge to no tape storge. Heilongjiang TV stationin order to meet the needs of development, because of the existing SDTV broadcastsystem runtime has reached7years, equipment aging, the system structure and thebroadcast means lags far behind the current technological development. So, we theexisting broadcasting system perform the construction and reconstruction work, andas the two level storage system background cache database is an important part ofthe HD broadcast system, is achieved without foundation with broadcast, have alsocarried out and build new design, to to meet the increasing mass of video and audiodata and realize the broadcasting system and production system of video and audiosharing television.Two level storage system in the application of network storage technology ofHeilongjiang HD broadcasting system design and construction. By comparing theadvantages and disadvantages of DAS, NAS, SAN and SAN and NAS fusion,further analysis to determine the relevant technologies suitable for Heilongjiang TVtwo level storage system, so that the construction of two level storage system isreasonable, reliable performance, high efficiency system.This paper first analyzes the Heilongjiang HD broadcasting storage systemrequirements, and related products to construct the system of surveying, whichbegan to design this system. First obtained by calculating the storage cubic measureof two level storage system and determine the products selected two level storagesystem, focusing on the two level storage system of the network architecture and thenetwork topology, the system of main and standby application strategy, storagesystem partition access strategy, storage management strategy and the two levelstorage system backup when the migration strategy, through the development of theabove strategies, finally completed from the program production system, mediaasset management system and advertising system to the two storage system backupprocess.At present Heilongjiang HD broadcast two level storage system has been putinto operation for2years. This system realizes the non tape storage plays animportant role in the system, and it is running2years safely, stablely, reliablely,and this system is easier for management and maintenance, and achieves the goal ofdesign, have important reference meaning to other television station.
