| Three-dimensional radar can measure the target distance, azimuth angle and elevating angle simultaneously. Compared with two-dimensional radar, three-dimensional radar has better performance of target recognition as well as larger range of target detection. This paper design and implement the height measurement and tracking algorithm of three-dimensional radar based on a radar signal processor of a three-dimensional radar. The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly, the basic principle of height measurement and angle measurement of three-dimensional radar has been deeply investigated. In this paper, we simulate different kinds of angle measurement algorithms.Secondly, we research deeply in radar tracking algorithms, mainly about mean filter, α-β filter, adaptive α-β filter and Kalman filter.Finally, we design and implement the height measurement and tracking algorithm of three-dimensional radar. A height measurement method of four beams is proposed to solve the height mutation problem existed in dual-beam radar. Triangle formula method is used to measure the angle. Moreover, kalman filter is used to improved the tracking accuracy. After that, a flow chart of the proposed algorithm is presented, two groups of aircraft flight data are processed and the result analysis is illustrated. |
