Research Of Intelligent Vehicle Initiative Safety System Based On DSP

This paper combines image processing technology and DSP Technology.It isapplied to the study of intelligent active security system.The system needs to processreal time image acquisition to the camera.In order to meet the systemrequirements,the paper presents the use of TMS320DM642high performance digitalsignal processor as the core.It deals with the real-time images.Researching anddeveloping intelligent vehicle initiative safety system based on DSP.First,the design of DSP hardware system must complete the selection of DSPchips.The paper studied and discussed that application status and development trendof the DSP technology and the chip.By collecting a large number of chip data andcombining with the requirement of the system,we finally decided to useTMS320DM642chip.The chip has powerful computing ability,high-efficiency theprocessing speed,abundant peripheral interfaces and special video port.It has becomean excellent selection of digital multimedia.It has been widely used in the field ofreal-time image processing.The paper contains the design of the whole hardware real-time image processingsystem and image acquisition system.DSP chip and DSP software needs to beevaluated, debugging in TMS320DM642EVM board.Therefore,the paper introducesthe TMS320DM642EVM board. I have designed the system block diagram ofDM642E board and hardware components of real-time image processing systembased on EVM board.According to the research and development of intelligent active securitysystem,the software system of real-time image needs to achieve the followingfunctions:detect road, detect obstacles and detect obstacle distance. The paperintroduces the VC development environment and Code Composer Studio. A lot ofproblems arise from VC code to DSP code conversion process. Under twodevelopment environments, the effect of image processing is similar.So we decided toalgorithm design in CCS development platform.Then,we need to optimize theprogram,in order to make the code for better performance.It can help me achieve the real-time requirements of intelligent active security system.Under the research background of intelligent active security system,combiningwith image processing technology and DSP technology, we can design a DSPsystem.There are high performance, low cost, high reliability characteristics.Collecting and processing dynamic image that reflecting the road conditions andobstacles.At the same time,the system has the advantages of small volume, portability,convenient installation,cost-effective.And it can adapt to the harsh environment.
