The Design And Implementation Of A Set-Top-Box-Based Voice Communications Switching And Service Processing Systems

With computer technology to the continuous development of Internet services and embedded devices are becoming increasingly popular, many non-smart devices have been given a new definition, such as smart watches, smart set-top boxes, smart appliances. They have independent operating system that can access the Internet, has extensive expansion and entertaining, but they also have a high threshold for the use, practicality and poor shortcomings.For more background and issues, and combine with the current situation of VoIP system at home and abroad. This research is designed and developed an embedded-set-top-box based voice communications switching and business processing system. The system integrates the VoIP phone and PSTN telephone based on the set-top boxes, and optimizes input and output mode of the VoIP service, and innovatively binds the PSTN number and VoIP account to realized using analog telephones to call VoIP phone. The system greatly reduces the cost of VoIP service learning and using, but also add some features such as black list, secondary dial, call forwarding, voice recording and management for analog telephones that make analog phones become more intelligent.The system consists of the following modules:file management module that priority-based recovery strategy, audio codec module that based on G.729and iLBC, SIP protocol stack module that based on expanded eXosip, real-time transport protocol module that based on JRTPlib, control module that based on state machine model.The subject completed the development of embedded-set-top-box based voice communications switching and business processing system, and other members of the project team do a lot of research for the security of SIP, and ultimately completed the SIP protocol encryption, authentication methods, expansion and optimization of the authentication methods.
