Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous improvement of the science and technology, wirelesscommunication as one of the most important communication methods in moderncommunication fields has achieved rapid development. However, people’s demand forwireless communication is also increasingly improved with the progress of the society.In order to meet the demand of the society, the technology of wireless communicationdeveloped very fast, all kinds of new technologies are also being put forward constantly.Different techniques are applicable to various communication environment, we need toredesign a new communication system when communication environment changes, andthe communication between different systems using different communicationtechnologies is also very complex. The traditional solutions are mainly designed forcertain communication systems with dedicated multi-mode and multi-frequency chips,which often cannot apply other communication environment. What’s worse, the slowdevelopment progress, high cost and poor universality also limits the chips. So theresearch of wireless communication technology and wireless communication system hasimportant significance.This paper studies several mainstream communication technologies including theOFDM technology, MIMO technology and intelligent antenna technology, according tothe characteristics of the three technologies, this paper proposes a new technologysolutions which is formed by the fusion of three technologies, this newly proposedsolution inhibits the disadvantages of each technology used alone. Aspatial smoothingalgorithm of fast subspace is used to estimate the doa angles in the fusion solution. Thecomplexity is greatly reduced in the new algorithm, which ensures the effectiveidentification of coherent signal and improves the speed of recognition, and also makesa second dimension reduction at the same time. Awireless communication system basedon FPGAis designed in this paper, which applies the idea of modular and makes full useof the reset feature of FPGA. The newly designed wireless communication systemconsisting of the digital reconfiguration modules or the replaceable modules uses thetechnology solution based on OFDM. So the system can be collocated flexibly, and canadapt to a variety of different communication environment and different communicationsystems. Based on the communication system which works at2.4GHz frequency, thispaper has accomplished the various modules of the system including of receiving antenna launch part, upper and lower frequency part, A/D conversion part, the encodingand modulation in the transmit and receiving of FPGA. The experimental test resultshows that all modules conform to design requirements and realize the correspondingfunction.With the guidance of the modularization idea, the wireless communication systemhas the characteristics of flexibility, convenience and strong adaptability. But there aretoo much modules in system. The ease of use and reliability still need to be improved.So the system is suitable for certain communication environment to verify the solutionsand temporary communication.
