| Mechanical parts contour automatic measurement is the most basic and flexible part of industrial production, its results directly affect the product quality and production efficiency. With the rapid development of modern manufacturing, the traditional measuring method of mechanical parts contour is not able to fully meet the high precision and speed requirements of modern manufacturing. Measuring method of mechanical parts contour based on machine vision is one of the trends of modern detection techniques, with the characteristics of non-contact, instantaneity, high precision, information-rich. Compared with the traditional measuring method, it has more significant advantages in the application of measurement of small parts. Under the current experimental conditions, taking the stamping parts used in automobile as an investigation objective, the technology of precise dimension measurement for mechanical parts contour based on machine vision is studied and analyzed.Based on the vast amount of literature information, in view of the existing problems in the process of parts measurement, this paper designs the system of precise dimension measurement for mechanical parts based on machine vision. The hardware of the measurement system is consist of CMOS image sensor, camera, light source, cargo and so on. That could be used in the laboratory and industrial environment to meet the basic requirement of machine vision. The software of the system is programmed through powerful graphical programming software LabVIEW, realizing the automation and visualization of the entire measurement process.Specifically, the main research contents in this paper are as follows:the principle and system structure of machine vision theory are described and the machine vision platform including CMOS image sensor, camera, light source, cargo and so on is builded to meet the practical requirements, the machine vision measurement technology and image processing technology are described and the image processing algorithm is programed and tested to make sure the accuracy of the algorithm, on the basic of parts image and visual platform characteristics; the basic programming method and principle are studied and a complete set of dimension precision measurement system is established; the precision and error of the result are analyzed.In this paper, by iterative trial and data analysis, The author draws a conclusion that the dimension measuring system is accurate and reliable with0.01mm precision. Therefore the system can meet the accuracy requirement of the general industrial detection. |
