Roller is an important part in the steel manufacturing industry. In recent years, with the rapid development of economic development, the demand for steel production is increasing, meanwhile the demand and consumption for roller are also increasing rapidly. In this situation, not only ask for roller manufacturing enterprises to improve the quantity and quality of products but also request to roller users to accelerate usage of modern information technology, make use of advanced management method of roll rolling process data management, in order to reduce consumption of rollers and improve roller utilization rate.Based on "Cold roll production process quality management system" which is completed by Shanxi Buyeasy Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd. and Systems Engineering Institute of Northeastern University, with cold-rolled products usage service process management as the background, rely on pre-research item of cold rolled plate rolling process in a steel production enterprise in our country, through the actual investigation in manufacture-enterprise and combine with common requirements of rolling production process flow and rolling process management, this thesis set up system model for roller-oriented rolling process data management, and design and develop the prototype software system. This thesis as an important component of the system in the system, primarily focus on demand analysis, system target model building, functional design and development, realized entire process of rollers and bearing box which are supervised and repaired in roller shop and tracking rollers from new to scrap which are using and used in rack, and guiding roller matching and roller grinding plan, at the same time according to usage historical data and the actual production conditions of roll to provide statistic and analysis of metal consumption and rolling yield.The thesis includes the following aspects:(1) On the background of actual production in a cold-rolled sheet of steel producers, made depth company research to understand management status of roller grinding shop, analyze general management needs of the process of rolling, determine the importance of this thesis in roller design, production manufacture and product overall lifecycle management. (2) On the basis of a good understanding of roller rolling process, requirement model of rolling process oriented data management system was set up. According to the model, the functional model and data model of the system was designed, and processing logic of all the modules was designed, a good understanding of business needs were made, according to the needs, database and function was designed, architecture of the data management system for roller-oriented rolling process was designed.(3) Programming achieved functions of the system including roll and bearing information management, match information management, grinding data management, process information management, roll consumption statistics analysis and rolling output statistical analysis. Realized targets of entire process of rollers and bearing box which are supervised and repaired in roller shop and tracking rollers from new to scrap which are using and used in rack.
