Study On Container Terminal Smart Gate Management System In D Company

Transportation plays an important supporting role for the development of social and the progress of the national economy. Traffic information system is an important aspect of social information. The smart transportation system is becoming the emerging strategic industries. In particular, as an important form of transport field, transport container occupies a large proportion in the national economy, the issue of smart management of container transport is becoming a hot issue research.In this thesis, we make the enterprise information management theory as a guide, analysis by combining the development trend of smart management of international container shipping terminal, and take the characteristics of the actual business of D company’s container gate house into account, then carding the basic business processes and the application of existing systems of terminal gate in detail, analyze the main problems existing in the original gate management system by linking theory with practice, so we propose new generation smart gate management system build solutions that based on information technology for D’business processes to a to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the gate data and simplify the operational processes, improve operational efficiency and avoid smuggling, missing boxes and other phenomena caused by manual operation effectively.Firstly, there is an overview of the research and application relevant to information management theory and management of information technology of wharf at home and abroad, and further analysis of implementation of the smart management information system implementation in wharf business; Then, by combing business process of D’container gate house, we summarized the main problems existing in the management process of container gate house, then condense out of the technology needs and ideas about the improvement of management of dock gate.Furthermore, a detail Kanban discuss the design and construct of smart management system for the container gate house of D (D-SmartGate), including:the business process planning of gate-channel, traffic control and Kanban display, box residue-testing and lead-seal inspection system, gate number/automatic Train Identification System, as well as the planning of parking field.Finally, the research and development insurances of smart management system of D container gate house were analyzed and summarized. The results of this study on the container terminal smart gate management system in D company also has practical significance for the optimization of implement system of other transport companies.
