In information processing system, data acquisition system is indispensable as a very important unit. The development of modern technique put forward higher request to the speed and precision of data acquisition system. With the rapid development and wide application of embedded technology,acquisition system which besed on it is being researched and exploited continuously.At same time,the dealing with the large amounts of data,manual processing can not meet the requirements.Data acquisition,storage and display based on microprocessor could be the only way to go.The system uses analog-digital conversion, microprocessor,memory and other chips to build a16-channel data acquisition which collect,storage and updata the signals by time.This paper introduces the design for the system. The first part of the thesis describes the background,the purpose and significance of the system. The situation about application in many fields in China and abroad is analyzed, and the main technical specifications are listed. The beginning of the second part give the principle of the data acquisition system works which get us ready for the next step of design. Then we particularly introduces the whole design of the system which presents the whole hardware structure and control scheme, analyzes and selects the key technology, discuss the design principles. LM3S9B96produced by TI company was selected as the central processor. This paper completed the hardware circuit design and explained the functions. Circuit schematics of all parts and PCB layout were provided. Flow charts of the main program and each task module have been given. Ethernet TCP/IP protocol has been cut and transplanted, SD card in SPI mode communication has been accomplished. The main code include the strain data’s arithmetic processing which is convenient for subsequent analysis. In the final part, a test circuit board has been made and debugged. The design feasibility and rationality have been verified. A summary of this paper elaborated the completed work, characteristics and significance of the job. Meanwhile the design deficiencies and improvement idears have been pointed out.After the test of the data acquisition system we made, we can get the conclusion that the system meets the main technical specifications brought up at the beginning of the article.From a cost consideration, design of the LM3S6911as the master control chip has a good apread potential.
